MOdernist membership program
The MOdernist membership program is a membership program of the Museum, where the persons participating in the program receive special information and exclusive conditions for visiting activities held by MO Museum or other offers related to the activities of the Museum.
In order to become a member of the MOdernist program, you have to submit your name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, city and date of birth. The Museum shall also record the date and time of each visit of MOdernist program members to the Museum.
Personal data of members shall be processed for the purpose of administering and maintaining the MOdernist membership program. Personal data for direct marketing purposes shall only be processed if you consent thereto. We will protect and process your personal data for the administration and servicing of the MOdernist membership program for as long as you are a member of the MOdernist program and three years after the expiration of this membership.
The basis for collecting and managing your personal data is the consent to participate in the MOdernist membership program.
MOdernist card is an exclusive program of the Museum. Participation in the program allows you to get various offers, discounts and information related to the activities of the Museum. It shall be valid till 1 January 2019.
Holder of MOdernist cards issued before 1 November 2018 shall have the right to become MOdernist program members till 1 March 2019 by paying the difference between the MOdernist membership program fee and the MOdernist card fee.
In the administration of MOdernist cards and provision of services related to this card, we shall process the following personal data: your MOdernist card number, your name, surname, gender, e-mail address, phone number, city and date of birth. The Museum also records the date and time of visits of each MOdernist card holder to the Museum.
We shall process your provided personal data for the purpose of administering and servicing the MOdernist card and direct marketing purposes (if you consent thereto ). We shall store and process your personal data for administering and servicing your MOdernist card for as long as you have a valid MOdernist card and three years after the expiry of the card.
The basis for collecting and processing your personal data shall be your consent to participate in the MOdernist card program.
The Museum presents a volunteer program to create a volunteer community of people of all ages and educational backgrounds. Volunteers are a part of the Museum team and their activities are of particular importance to the Museum.
In order to become a Museum volunteer, you must fill out a registration form indicating your name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, city, date of birth, education, professional experience, skills and your foreign language skills.
We shall process your personal data for the purpose of volunteering and direct marketing (if you consent thereto). We shall store and process your personal data during the validity period of the volunteering agreement and three years after its expiry.
The basis for collecting and processing your personal data shall be an agreement on volunteer work in the Museum (in order to conclude and perform the agreement).
Events and guided tours. Rent
When registering for events, guided tours or organizing them and renting premises of the Museum, the Museum may ask its visitors (or tenants) to provide their names, surnames, e-mail addresses, addresses and phone numbers.
Your personal data shall be processed for the purposes of Museum administration, statistics, security, feedback, to help visitors of the Museum and for the purpose of protection of Museum’s property. In case of events and guided tours, your data shall be processed on the basis of consent, and in case of rent of premises of the Museum – on the basis of a rental agreement (in order to conclude and perform the agreement).
In case of rent, your data shall be stored for 10 years after the expiry of the agreement, and in case of events and guided tours – for 1 year.
When registering on the online www.mmcentras.lt store, buyers shall provide correct information and enter additional information marked with stars. Buyers shall be responsible for providing correct data.
To order goods on the online store, buyers shall register on the website www.mmcentras.lt.
When registering on the online www.mmcentras.lt store, buyers shall enter their e-mail address and password. Buyers shall confirm that they have been informed of the fact that information notices necessary to complete their order will be sent to the specified e-mail address.
Having registered on the online store www.mmcentras.lt, buyers shall enter in their profile the following personal data necessary to complete the order: name, surname, phone number, e-mail address, address, recipient (delivery) address. Buyers shall also tick the box indicating if they want to receive Museum’s newsletters.
Your provided data shall be used to fulfill your order only. These data shall not be used for any other purpose, shall not be transferred or sold to any third parties unrelated to the provision of our direct services without your consent thereto. The Museum does not collect buyer login data to payment systems. You enter your online banking or PayPal payment system login data in bank or PayPal websites, thus the Museum does not have access to this information.
Personal data of buyers (name, surname, phone number, e-mail address, address, recipient (delivery) address, in particular) shall be stored for 10 years from the day of the last transaction under the purchase – sale agreement. After the expiry of the active data base storage term, personal data shall be erased automatically.
The basis for collecting and processing buyer data shall be the conclusion and performance of a purchase – sale agreement (when the buyer seeks to purchase goods from the online store).
You can purchase tickets to Museum exhibitions at the Museum’s ticket offices and online on the Museum’s website at bilietai.mo.lt. You can purchase tickets to Museum events on the “Paysera Tickets” online platform at tickets.paysera.com.
When purchasing tickets to Museum exhibitions on the website bilietai.mo.lt, the Museum collects the following personal data: your name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, country.
Your provided data shall be used to fulfill your order only. These data shall not be used for any other purpose, shall not be transferred or sold to any third parties unrelated to the provision of our direct services without your consent thereto. The Museum is video surveilled in order to ensure the security of property of the Museum, the protection of life, health, property, other rights and freedoms of the Museum’s employees and other persons, when other means or measures are inadequate and / or inappropriate for the said purposes, and if interests of data subjects in the surveilled field are not more important.
Territory managed by the Museum (accesses to the territory, the area around the building and entrances to the building) and its premises (halls, storage rooms, corridors) are under video surveillance.
Due to the specifics of work of the Museum, workplaces, premises and territories where the Museum’s employees work can be video surveilled.
Parts of the premises of the Museum, where complete privacy protection is reasonably expected and where surveillance would degrade human dignity (for example, toilets, dressing rooms), are not under video surveillance.
The Museum shall ensure the processing of video data solely by persons authorized by the Museum, who have been familiarized with legal acts regulating legal protection of personal data and have committed to comply therewith under a signature. Before entering the Museum’s premises under video surveillance, information on ongoing video surveillance shall be presented in a clear and appropriate manner.
Your personal data shall be collected and processed on the basis of legitimate interest in order to ensure the security of the Museum’s property and the protection of life, health, property, other rights and freedoms of the Museum’s employees and other persons.
Your personal data shall be stored for 30 days from the moment a video recording was made.
A multimedia guide is a website which a Museum visitor can access using the browser on his/ her mobile device or a Museum tablet. The multimedia guide is designated for providing visitors with information (in video, audio, photographs or text format) about the objects in the Museum.
If you wish to receive newsletters, you can subscribe to them on the multimedia guide website by providing your name, the city you come from and your e-mail address.
Your consent to receive newsletters shall be the basis for collecting and processing personal data of visitors for direct marketing purposes.
Filming and photographing during events
Visitors may be filmed and/or photographed in certain events or exhibitions in the Museum’s premises. In such a case, visitors shall be informed by posting warning signs before entering the Museum’s premises where an event or an exhibitions is held (for example, posting posters on the entrance door to the Museum, etc.).
Filming and photographing is done for purposes of the Museum’s presentation, advertising and administration of its chronicle.
The Museum shall be the processor of personal data (videos or photographs) collected during events or exhibitions. It may transfer videos to third parties that help organize the event and arrange its advertising, prepare presentation material. Such persons may include creators and distributors of advertising materials, providers of database software, providers of database and website administration services, cloud computing service providers, etc.
Videos and / or photographs taken during events and their clips may be published and broadcasted live on the Museum’s Facebook account, website, and other means of advertising or information dissemination.
Videos and photographs shall be taken during events on the basis of our legitimate interest to capture events that take place in the Museum and to use this material for purposes of presentation, advertising and administration of our chronicle.
Photographs and videos shall be stored for 5 years from the time they were taken.
Personal data of candidates
We process personal data (name, surname, e-mail address, CV, cover letter and position) of candidates who sent their CVs directly to us by e-mail or via employment websites to be able to select candidates for a vacancy. We process these personal data of candidates on the basis of a consent. We store personal data of candidates for as long as the selection to the specific position lasts. The data shall be stored longer, if a candidate’s consent thereto has been obtained.
By holding selections to fill vacancies, we process only those personal data of candidates that relate to their qualifications, professional skills and business characteristics. We do not collect and do not process special personal data of candidates.
Data on the fact that an interview has taken place (candidate’s name, surname, time of the interview) shall be stored for 10 years from the day of the interview.

Surveys and lotteries
In surveys conducted by the Museum, visitors shall provide their age, gender and the city where they live. These data shall not be linked to a particular visitor, and the visitor shall not be identified individually.
The Museum can also organize lotteries. To participate in lotteries, visitors shall indicate their name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address. These personal data are collected in order to properly organize a lottery and to ensure that the Museum can smoothly contact you in case of winning the prize. The basis for collecting these data shall be your consent to participate in the lottery. Personal data received on this basis shall be stored until the end of the lottery and no more than 3 years.
Data storage term
We shall store and process your personal data for direct marketing purposes for 3 years from the day of opening of the last newsletter. Please be informed that you can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time by sending an e-mail to email@example.com or by simply clicking the “Unsubscribe” button on the bottom of each of our newsletter.
Consequences of a failure to provide data
When it comes to the MOdernist card, we will not be able to offer you discounts and exclusive offers guaranteed by the card. You will not be able to become a Museum’s volunteer, to conclude a rental agreement of Museum’s premises or a purchase – sale agreement on the online store without providing the data. Also, you will not be able to participate in a selection for a vacancy if you refuse to provide your data. If you do not agree to accept the cookies that we use, you will not be able to browse our website smoothly and conveniently.
Refusing to provide your data for online ticket trading, you will not be able to purchase tickets online, and if you do not provide the required personal data, you will not be able to use the multimedia guide or participate in lotteries.
Our data processing is subject to security and processing requirements laid down in the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union.
The Museum shall take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of all the personal data being processed against their unintentional or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, modification, unauthorized disclosure or access, and against all other forms of unlawful processing.
You have the following rights relating to your personal data:
1) to ask the Museum to grant you access to data and to correct or erase the data, or to restrict the processing of data;
2) to disagree with the processing of data;
3) to receive your personal data in a systemized, commonly used format that can be easily processed by a computer (right to data portability);
4) to cancel your consent;
5) to file a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
