The passage of daily life. Photography exhibition
About the exhibition
The generational contrast between different interpretations of daily memories was expressed just as emotionally in photography as it was in painting.
Soviet-era photography was interesting not only as an artistic phenomenon, but also as a moving documentary record of the period, reflecting historical events, daily life and ever-changing surroundings. The body of photographs produced in this time period reveals what had been suppressed, bridging the gap between past and present.
