The first “MO Friday”
The first "MO Friday"
On 30th of November MO Museum introduced a new series of events – “MO Friday”. How was this Friday different from the others?
“MO Friday” united several different activities in the museum: visual arts, the opportunity to get to know the artists closely and music.
The series of events started together with the opera singer Ieva Prudnikovaitė. She chose Andrius Zakarauskas painting “Round Strokes (lith. “Apskriti potėpiai”) for her conversation and discussion about everyday life, her job and free time. I. Prudnikovaitė was very open and said that music was not her first choice at school. She also revealed her dream to try herself as an actress in the theater or in the cinema.
The museum also introduced the installation “Three Acts and Silence” created by sculptor Neris Erminas and Vilnius City Opera’s art director Dalia Ibelhauptaitė.
Visitors of the MO Friday event had an exclusive opportunity to hear the new album “Mistyrijous Gangsta” of Lithuanian artist Migloko. As she said, it will be a new step in her career. Her new album is about invincible inner human and creative power. The new album, in which you can hear three Lithuanian songs as well, is a new phase in Migloko’s creative path.
After Migloko’s concert, DJ Rimas Šapauskas continued Mo Friday evening.
“We invite guests to spend Fridays at MO. For this reason we have already prepared the festive program for the last Friday of December”, says Milda Ivanauskienė, director of MO Museum.
