Educational activities of the MO and Kazickas Family Foundation initiative

MO muziejus | Edukacija

The MO Museum and the Kazickas Family Foundation are working together on a new initiative aimed at socially vulnerable groups of young people. Young people are invited to take part in free MO education sessions (live or virtual) or visit the museum on their own.

The aim of the initiative of the MO Museum and the Kazickas Family Foundation is to give socially vulnerable groups of young people the opportunity to visit MO education: to get acquainted with modern art, to open up new paths of knowledge, and to develop communication, cooperation, creativity, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and other abilities that will make it easier for them to choose a profession or a direction in life.

The target audience of the initiative is groups of young people living in remote regions of Lithuania, who do not have the opportunity to visit cultural institutions and get closer and deeper acquainted with modern art. This includes children and youth day-care centers, orphanages, and young people from small rural areas (towns and villages), especially those far from Vilnius.
