We Don’t Do This. Exhibition opening MOrathon

On March 9, we are opening the exhibition We Don’t Do This. Intimacy, Norms and Fantasies in Baltic Art, in which we delve into topics that have been swept under the carpet for a long time. For decades we had been whispering, feeling ashamed, staying in the closet or timidly exploring those parts of our life behind closed doors.

Now we REALLY don’t do this anymore! Boldly and daringly, we have gotten rid of gender stereotypes and norms; we now can finally discuss how the representations of gender, family and sexuality have changed in sixty years. The exhibition opening MOrathon is no exception: we will debate, talk, listen, dance (with Balaganza drag queens and Rūta MUR!) all Saturday without feeling a drop of shame. Are you ready?

Events of the MOrathon program are free of charge, you just need to buy a MO Museum ticket.
