MO metų veiklos ataskaita 2023

2023–ieji MO buvo ne tik jubiliejiniai metai, bet ir svarbių įvertinimų laikas: į naujus metus žengėme sulaukę penktojo gimtadienio, tapę pirmuoju mokytojų kvalifikaciją tobulinti galinčiu meno muziejumi ir pripažinti vienu iš penkių geriausių meno muziejų Europoje.

Didžiausiu 2023–iųjų MO įvykiu tapo Vilniaus 700 metų jubiliejui skirta paroda „Vilniaus pokeris“, o per metus muziejus sulaukė daugiau nei 140 tūkst. lankytojų. 2024–aisiais veiksmo MO muziejuje bus ne ką mažiau – jau kovo mėnesį bus atverta nauja didžioji paroda „Šito pas mus nėra“. 2023 was not only the fifth year of the MO Museum, but also a time of significant events: the Museum became the first art museum in Lithuania to be accredited to conduct professional development for teachers, and has been recognised as one of the top five art museums in Europe.

The biggest Museum event of 2023 was the exhibition “Vilnius Poker”, dedicated to Vilnius’ 700th anniversary, which attracted more than 140,000 visitors during the year. In 2024, there will be no less action in the MO Museum, with a major new exhibition opening in March.
